Overview

This project was the design of a comprehensive Smart Home Interface, consolidating multiple smart devices and services into a single user-friendly application.

Problem Statement

The challenge was to create a seamless integration of various smart home devices and services like Amazon Alexa, Ring cameras, music streaming apps, and digital thermostats into one cohesive system that could be easily controlled from a central device or a mobile app.

Research & Ideation

The design process began with a thorough examination of the existing smart home ecosystem, analyzing the functionality of individual devices and identifying opportunities for integration that would enhance user experience.

Interface Design

The focus was on designing an interface that would be intuitive to navigate, with clear visual cues and a logical layout, allowing users to manage their smart devices with minimal effort. This included designing screens for music control, room-specific device management, camera feeds, and thermostat settings.
